The Land & Sea Story 

Land & Sea Pets Inc. was created by Chadwick Wiseman in 2021 with the help of his father Clayton Wiseman. While cleaning the day's catch, Chad was moved by the amount of cod waste that was accumulating during their fishing season in Bonavista Bay, NL.

The protein and collagen that lay sitting at the bottom of the bay could benefit dogs. His beautiful black lab, Rosie, who had some ailments of her own, came to mind, motivating Chad to create a clean protein that could be added to her existing raw diet.

It became the inspiration that fueled the creation of Land & Sea Pets Inc.

Land & Sea Pets was created with three core values that set us apart. Zero-plastic packaging that disrupts a plastic-bag dominated industry. Undeniable quality, made by hand in small batches, focused on producing the cleanest and toughest cod skins on the market. Lastly, representing our community, our family and our history in Newfoundland & Labrador.

Land & Sea Cod Skins are a sustainable and all-natural pet treat made from a single ingredient: dehydrated North Atlantic cod skins. Cod skins, which are generally discarded in the filleting-process, can be vital in providing pets with protein, Omega - 3 fatty acids, and collagen, for a healthy coat, skin, and joints. Our Land & Sea Cod Skins are certified sustainable and prepared by hand in Newfoundland & Labrador. Traditionally, cod skins were discarded in the filleting process, but these cod skins are a source of protein, Omega-3 and collagen. All necessary in a healthy dog’s diet.
